But what does it mean by choosing natural, organic cosmetics exactly? Well, to put it simply, Organic cosmetics this type of cosmetic is different than the kind that you used to have before - mainly the ingredients used to formulate the product, as well as the principles behind it.

Basically, the ingredients are sourced more ethically and being sustainable with the environment, instead of just minimizing costs as much as possible that will endanger nature in the long run.

And these are not just hyping up the trend of using such cosmetics, as benefits have been proven by the advocates of natural, organic cosmetics and we sure love to have some for our skin.

The key difference is the ingredients that are used to make the product and boy do they bring immense goodness to the skin. As the ingredients are organicly-sourced, they work better for the skin as it should, without compromising or making any unwanted changes to it in the long run; unlike regular cosmetic that are full with synthetic preservatives, colorants, fragrances, or even heavy metals that mix like a cocktail of chemicals that while they do prolong the shelf life of the products, they will cause damages to the skin in the long run.

What damages we are talking about? Think carcinogens, premature aging, disrupted hormones, allergies, or affect our immune system to name a few.

Plus, the natural ingredients used to formulate the cosmetics are used in their full form (instead of derived synthetically) that it also works to nourish the skin and this can be an added advantage on top of your skincare routine.

I mean, comparing equal sizes of the regular and organic cosmetic products, you take away the fillers (preservatives, fragrances to name a few) from the regular one and the real stuff that works for your skin is small compared to the organic one.

As organic cosmetics work well and naturally with the skin, pretty much nearly all of the products are suitable for all skin types - including mature and sensitive skin) - and even with anyone with certain skin issues such as psoriasis and eczema that are prone to inflammation and irritation.

Of course, natural, organic cosmetics are also safer for the environment that it won’t cause damages to the air, the ozone layer, water, or even too cute animals. Plus, the waste by-products produced from making the cosmetics are one with nature so they are biodegradable as well.
